How to Hack Beauty Care!

Beauty Care! is Ruby Games’ clinic game of satisfying little treatments, past 10 million downloads on Google Play. The red gems that furnish your room are a plain number in its Unity PlayerPrefs, under a name that says gold: currency_key_GoldID. I started with 0 and set it to 999,999.

  1. Open CheatDroid, allow root, and tap Beauty Care! in the app list.

  2. Under Shared preferences, open com.rubygames.doctorcare.v2.playerprefs.xml; the search at the top finds it among the game’s 16 files. If CheatDroid says the game is running, tap Force stop.

  3. Search for currency_key_GoldID, tap it, type 999999 over the 0.0 and tap Save.

  4. Start Beauty Care! again. The gem counter at the top right reads 1000k.

What else I found

  • It sticks: a chair for 8.10k left 991k, and the chair was still there after a restart.
  • It runs offline, and there are no other players.
  • Tested on version 4.7.4.
