How to Hack Alto's Odyssey
New to this? Start with our general guide to hacking Android games.
Alto’s Odyssey is the sandboarding sequel to Alto’s Adventure, published on Android by Noodlecake and past 10 million downloads on Google Play. The coins you pick up on the dunes pay for the Workshop’s upgrades and the wingsuit, and they sit in the game’s playerprefs file as one plain number. My first run brought in 46. One edit later the Workshop said 999,999.
Open CheatDroid, allow root, and tap Alto’s Odyssey in the app list. There is one file under Shared preferences,
com.. Open it, and if CheatDroid says the game is running, tap Force stop.noodlecake. altosodyssey. v2. playerprefs. xml
The one playerprefs file The file has 154 keys, 13 of them with coin in the name. Search for
Save., tap it, type 999999 and tap Save.StatProfile. coins
Save.StatProfile.coins, 46, set to 999999 Spend some to be sure. The Magnet Timer’s first level is 250 coins, which left me 999,749, and that number was still there after a restart.

999,749 after a 250 upgrade and a restart
What else I found
- The key is there from the first start, at 0, so you can set it before your first run.
- Leave
bestTotalScorealone. That’s your high score, and it goes to the leaderboard. - It runs offline. A run started fine in airplane mode.
- Tested on version 1.0.42.
Made a game that keeps its coins like this? Here’s how to sign PlayerPrefs so this edit fails.
