How to Skip Timers in Offline Android Games
Idle and tycoon games count their timers, and what you earn while the game is closed, from the phone’s clock. Move the clock forward and the time passes for them. CheatDroid’s time jump does that and puts the clock back afterwards.
What you need
- A rooted phone and CheatDroid 4.1 or newer. Setting the clock needs root.
- An offline game. A timer the game’s server keeps doesn’t care about your phone’s clock.
Jump
- In CheatDroid, tap the game, then Time jump under Tools.
- Tap a jump: an hour, three, twelve, a day, a week or thirty days. Or type days, hours and minutes and tap the arrow.
- Restart the game with it is on by default, because most games read the clock when they start. CheatDroid closes the game, moves the clock and opens the game again.
Burger Please!, for example, pays an offline reward when it opens: 116 the first time I opened it, 240 after a one-day jump. A game can cap what it pays for time away, so a week may pay no more than a day. A timer on an upgrade or a build has no cap; it finishes.

Back to real time
Back to real time, in the same place, sets the clock right and switches network time back on if it was on before. The chip on the game’s page reads Clock moved while it is, so you don’t forget.
CheatDroid works out the real time from how long the phone has been running since the jump. If the phone restarts in between, it can’t, and switching network time back on is what sets the clock right then.
What to know
- The whole phone sees the moved clock: notifications, alarms, calendar reminders. Network time stays off until you go back, or Android would set the clock right again within minutes.
- Some games notice a clock that goes backwards and reset their timers, or call it cheating. Going back with the game closed, which the restart switch does, is the safer order.
